GeekyThings Shop Manager

A private seller tool for the GeekyThingsUK shop.

GeekyThings Shop Manager is an in-house application used only by the owner of GeekyThingsUK. It helps keep our product catalogue, stock and Etsy shop information accurate.

What the application does

• Reads our shop listings, inventory, orders, sales information and reviews.
• Compares that information with the private GeekyThings product catalogue.
• Helps the shop owner prepare listing and stock changes for review.

Etsy permissions requested

• shops_r to identify and read the GeekyThingsUK shop.
• listings_r to read our listings and inventory.
• transactions_r to read our orders, sales information and reviews.

The current connection is read-only. It does not request access to Etsy messages, send email, or automatically publish listing changes.

Access and safeguards

• The application is private and is not offered to other Etsy sellers or the general public.
• Access to private Etsy shop data uses Etsy's OAuth authorisation process.
• The application never asks another seller to provide an API key.
• Any proposed listing changes are reviewed and published separately by the shop owner.
• Shop data is not sold or shared with third parties.
